Posted on 2005-11-03 at 00:05:12 by rhonda

As of Sunday, October 23, 2005, Oceana is now available as a wireless internet hotspot featuring highspeed DSL. Internet users can sit in the eating area at the front of the store and use the internet while eating lunch. Less busy times are mornings from 8am-11am and afternoons 2pm-5pm. Any time on weekends there should be room. We hope that you enjoy this convenience.

Turn your love for Oceana into action!
Posted on 2005-08-21 at 23:59:58 by rhonda

Oceana needs directors who love the store to guide its future.

Things have been going well at the store and we continue to plan for improvements. We do need, however, to create a long-term vision for Oceana's future place in our community.

We have made a nice home out of our current location. We have a little less than 3 years left on our lease. We can work with the owner of the building on possibilities for expansion/remodel in our current location. We could also plan to move to a better, more visible location. The most important element in all these choices is the "we". Our board of directors currently has three directors plus the manager of the store. In any plans for the future, many more people must be involved. The board of directors sent letters out to about 45 members requesting their participation. One person replied.

Your store will need you to help create its future. Please find time to be involved. Rhonda Fry, Manager
